Sony SA-SW3 Subwoofer Speaker

Designed for easier installation in your ceiling : This speaker uses JBL's XL-2 installation system. The rear legs can attach to ceilings up to 2" thick, giving you plenty of versatility when it comes to placement. Once installed, the included metal, zero-bezel grille seamlessly hides the speaker inside your ceiling.
High-performance drivers : The 280CSA has a 1" aluminum dome tweeter with an acoustic lens that dishes out sparkly, clear highs. An 8" polycellulose woofer delivers smooth mids and bass. The drivers are set inside an angled, acoustically optimized baffle that aims the speaker's sound and reduces diffraction and other types of sound-muddying distortion.
Directional overhead sound from JBL : JBL's new Stage 280CSA in-ceiling speaker was made to deliver focused, impactful sound where you need it most. The speaker uses an angled baffle that lets you point its sound towards your listening area even if it's positioned off-axis. It delivers exceptional performance and works well in both two-channel music systems and home theater setups.

Easy To Set Up : Simply power up the SA-SW3 subwoofer and it automatically makes a wireless connection with your Home Theatre System or soundbar. It’s quick and easy with no need for messy cables.
Σ Magnetic Circuit For Deep, Powerful Bass : Sony’s proprietary technology, the Σ (Sigma) Magnetic Circuit enables deep, powerful bass by maximising the magnetic force that drives the voice coil. By contrast, conventionally shaped circuits let much of this magnetic force leak away.
Separated Notch Edge : Another Sony proprietary technology, Separated Notch Edge improves vertical amplitude symmetry, an essential for clear sound quality. It achieves this using concentric cuts on the edge, which help to control the stress inside and outside the edge of the diaphragm.
Rich, Deep Bass : With 200W of deep bass sound from a powerful 160mm driver, this bass reflex subwoofer boosts the impact of everything you watch and listen to.
