Technical Features - Decoupled Carbon Dome Tweeter, Solid Body Tweeter-On-Top, Continuumâ„¢ Cone FSTâ„¢ Midrange, Aerofoilâ„¢ Profile Bass Cones, Flowportâ„¢.
The HTM71 S3 now features Tweeter-on-Top technology, ensuring perfect integration with similarly equipped 700 Series models in a surround sound system.
Developed using advanced computer modelling techniques, the Aerofoil™ Profile bass cone has variable thickness, providing stiffness and rigidity where it’s needed most. The result: deep and dynamic bass.
Carbon Dome tweeters are purpose-built for the 700 Series. Delivering a dramatic improvement on the aluminum double dome tweeter, they raise the breakup threshold to 47kHz, for pinpoint imaging accuracy and detail.
New And Improved Input Panel : Featuring audiophile-grade wire and easily accessible aluminum binding posts for any connection type.
Strong, Flexible, Removable Grille : Attaches magnetically for an elegant transition from powerful showstopper to discrete performance piece.
Furniture Grade Materials And Finishes : Finishes include ebony vinyl and walnut vinyl that boast satin painted baffles with a scratch resistant finish.
Advanced Cabinet Design : Additional bracing and a divided cabinet have been added to minimize cabinet resonances and vibration, for the utmost transparency and clarity.
Cast Aluminum Feet : Provides a more modern look with less resonance than MDF or ABS plastic. It is mechanically designed to minimize surface area in contact with floor, decoupling the speaker for faster, tighter low frequencies and more detail.
Refined Atmos Connections : Upgrading to Dolby Atmos is extremely easy with the simple and hidden connections located on the back of the speakers. These refined connections reduce the amount of wire seen and hold them in place for better wire management.
