How to test Headphone ?

Good headphones should reproduce frequency as low as 20HZ, the lowest limit a human ear can hear and frequency as high as 20KHz, the highest limit of human ear. Play an audio track which can test both the higher limit and lower limit frequency for testing purpose and analyse your Headphones accordingly.




How can I test my headphone on my computer?

Once you have connected the Headset to your computer, it’s time to make sure Windows has sound levels and to configure it correctly follow these above steps.

Left click the sound icon in the taskbar.

Select the Sound device in the drop-down menu.

Choose the connected headset.

Now to test the output of the headset right click on the sound icon in the taskbar.

Select Open sound settings.

Choose sound control panel on the right.

Select the Headphones.

Hit properties.

Select the Advanced tab.

Hit the test button.


How loud are my Headphones test?

Average audio devices have a sound level ranging from 75dB to 136dB. However, listening to more than 85dB is already marked red and can cause irreparable damage.
