To connect your AirPods to your MacBook Air, follow these steps
STEP 1: Make sure your MacBook Air is turned on and within Bluetooth range of your AirPods.
STEP 2: Open the lid of your AirPods case.
STEP 3: On your MacBook Air, click on
the Apple menu in the top-left corner of the screen.
STEP 4: From the drop-down menu,
select “System Preferences”.
STEP 5: In the System Preferences
window, click on “Bluetooth”.
STEP 6: Ensure that Bluetooth is
turned on. If it’s not, click on the “Turn Bluetooth On” button.
STEP 7: Place your AirPods case close
to your MacBook Air.
STEP 8: On the AirPods case, locate
the small button on the back. Press and hold the button until the LED light on
the front of the case starts flashing white.
STEP 9: On your MacBook Air, under
the “Bluetooth” preferences, you should see your AirPods listed under “Devices”. Click on the “Connect” button next
to your AirPods.
STEP 10: Your MacBook Air will now
attempt to connect to your AirPods. Once the connection is established, you
will see a message confirming the successful pairing.
STEP 11: Your AirPods are now
connected to your MacBook Air. You can start using them to listen to audio or
make video calls.
